Deleting your account

Last updated: 28 July 2026

This page belongs to Linkygo; the service is operated by Selin Saygılı. It explains how to delete your account and your data. You do not need to sign in to read it.

1.Deleting from the app or the website

The steps are the same in the mobile app and the web dashboard:

As soon as you confirm, your account is deactivated: your public page becomes unavailable and you are signed out on every device.

2.If you cannot sign in

If you have forgotten your password or cannot access your account, you can request deletion by email. Write to contact@linkygo.app from the email address registered to your account, with "Account deletion" as the subject. We will carry out the request on your behalf once we have verified your identity.

3.When it is deleted

Your account is permanently deleted 30 days after your request. This waiting period is deliberate: it lets you recover from an accidental deletion. During this period your account is deactivated and your page is not visible to anyone. Once the 30 days pass, the data cannot be recovered.

4.What is deleted

5.What is kept

Payment and billing records are not deleted; they are financial records that tax and commercial legislation requires us to keep. However, they are made impossible to link back to you: their connection to your account is removed, leaving only the amount, date, and transaction details. These records are kept for the retention period required by applicable law.

Payments are processed through Paddle, our payment service provider acting as merchant of record; Paddle's own records are subject to its own retention policy.
